Novartis Acquires over 75 Percent of Lek

Basel, 7 November - The Swiss multinational Novartis has acquired over 75 percent of the shares of the Ljubljana-based pharmaceutical company Lek, STA was told Thursday by Novartis's press representative Mark Hill. He called upon all shareholders who have not yet accepted the offer to buy Lek shares to do so as soon as possible as the takeover bid offering SIT 105,000 (EUR 458) a share expires on 18 November.
