March for Peace Wraps Up Ljubljana's Anti-NATO Days

Ljubljana, 9 November - A march for peace around Ljubljana on Saturday concluded a series of events dubbed "Anti-NATO Days," which kicked off on Thursday. The peaceful protest was joined by some 200 opponents of NATO and Slovenia's membership in the Alliance, who passed along the main streets of Slovenia's capital, stopping in front of the parliament building and the U.S. embassy. Representatives of different generations gathered before the march to voice their disagreement with NATO.
