BRUSSELS - Negotiations are to continue between officials of the European Commission, the EU Council and the EU presiding Denmark, and representatives of EU candidate countries. The Slovenian negotiating team will be headed by Europe Minister Janez Potocnik. He is scheduled to hold a press conference at 4:30 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The 13th Ljubljana International Film Festival (LIFFe) is to kick off in the evening. 99 films are to be shown during the fortnight-long festival, with 15 films to compete for the festival's main prize "the Kingfisher".
