Milk Affair: Government to Provide SIT 100m to Affected Farmers

Ljubljana, 13 November - Agriculture Ministry officials on Wednesday promised the farmers who protested against strict measures introduced following a detection of a banned antibiotic in milk to do all in their power to severely punish the farmers who used it. Moreover, a compensation sum of around SIT 100m (EUR 436,000) was promised to those who suffered damage because of the banned drug scare.
