Rumsfeld to Visit Slovenia Soon, Pentagon Source Imply

Washington, 13 November - "Slovenia is making significant progress in meeting its MAP goals. The U.S. and our NATO allies share some concerns, and these have been addressed to the Slovenian defence ministry and other senior officials," Ian Brzezinski, U.S. deputy assistant secretary of defence for European and NATO affairs, told STA. Meanwhile, an anonymous source in the Pentagon told STA that U.S. Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld is expected to visit Slovenia shortly, although the exact date has not been set yet. The Slovenian Embassy in Washington neither confirmed nor rejected the news.
