WARSAW - Prime ministers from the ten EU candidate countries that are expected to become members in 2004 - including Slovenia's Janez Drnovsek - are scheduled to meet in the Polish capital. Their discussions are to focus on the final phase of EU membership negotiations. Drnovsek is to be accompanied by Slovenia's Europe Minister Janez Potocnik.

SKOPJE - Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to attend the plenary session of leaders from the 17 members of the Central European Initiative (CEI). The session is to focus on the current global developments, the formation of a central European region and EU expansion.

DUBLIN - Slovenian Agriculture Minister Franci But is scheduled to pay a visit to Ireland. While in Dublin, Minister But is to meet with State Secretary at the Irish Economics Ministry Frank Fahey.
