Lab Tests Show 74 Milk Samples Containing Chloramphenicol

Ljubljana, 18 November - After examining over 1,000 milk samples taken at 16 milk collection routes where traces of the banned antibiotic Chloramphenicol were discovered, 74 samples tested positive for Chloramphenicol presence, the Slovenian Veterinary Administration (VURS) told the press on Monday. The potential violators will not be allowed to deliver milk to the collection routes until results of additional analyses from a reference lab are known.
