Survey Indicates Need for Greater Promotion of Entrepreneurship in Slovenia

Maribor, 19 November - Quicker development of entrepreneurship in Slovenia requires a more streamlined process of granting permits and licenses, the introduction of risk capital and cultural share ownership, a press conference was told Tuesday upon the presentation of the initial results of the 2002 Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) survey. Slovenia was ranked in the lower half as regards its entrepreneurial development among the 37 participating countries.
