Slovenia Expects to Get NATO Invitation in Prague

Ljubljana, 20 November - Slovenia expects to be invited to join NATO at a summit in Prague on Thursday, 21 November. Receiving the invitation would in fact represent an achievement of one of its foreign policy goals, which was officially set in 1996. A decision on which countries would be extended an invitation is expected to be revealed by NATO Secretary General George Robertson at the outset of the summit on Thursday morning.
