European Commission Checks Safety and Quality of Food in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 20 November - The efforts made by Slovenia to align its legislation in the area of the safety and quality of food to the EU body of laws is all in all satisfactory, found a delegation of European Commission officials who met on Wednesday with officials of the agriculture and health ministries in Ljubljana. The meeting focussed on discussing the transfer and enactment of the EU legislation related to food safety in Slovenia.
