Ljubljana, 20 November - The STA English service will cover the following events on Thursday, 21 November:

PRAGUE - A high-profile Slovenian delegation is to go to the Czech capital to attend a two-day NATO summit, at which Slovenia, together with six other countries is expected to receive a NATO membership invitation. Slovenian officials visiting Prague will be President Milan Kucan, Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek, Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, Defence Minister Anton Grizold and Chief of Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Ladislav Lipic.

PORTOROZ - The 4th, two-day Slovenian Business Conference is to kick off, focussing on competition and co-operation with global corporations. Several Slovenian top officials and economists are expected to attend.

BRUSSELS - President of the European Commission Romano Prodi and chair of the Slovenian parliamentary commission for European affairs Lojze Peterle, a member of the presidency of the Convention on the future of the EU, are to meet to discuss the work of the Convention.
