Vecer Examines Opposition Bill to Limit Gov't Extravagance

Maribor, 23 November - By filing a bill that prevents Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek from staying the night at the Brdo cabin and also puts an end to some other extravagant habits, including government sessions at the Brdo castle, the opposition Social Democrats (SDS) are trying to help their presidential candidate Barbara Brezigar a week before the run-off with Drnovsek. There is nothing wrong with the opposition's attempts to use mistakes made by the government to attract voters, the daily Vecer writes on Saturday.
