Stocks Dragged Down as Takeover of Lek Completed

Ljubljana, 23 November - The end of the takeover of drug-maker Lek resulted in a big fall for the benchmark SBI 20 index on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) this week. Lek shares were most responsible for weighing the index down, having lost 17.71 percent to SIT 85,000 (EUR 370.36) after the conclusion of the successful Novartis acquisition bid. The index finished the week down 91.41 points at 3,425.54.
