150,000 Muslims in Need of Mosque Live in Slovenia, Delo Quotes Unofficial Figures

Ljubljana, 3 February - It has been 34 years since the first initiative was given to erect the first mosque in Slovenia, says Monday's edition of Delo, featuring several articles on Muslims in Slovenia. In light of the on-going debate on the construction of a mosque in Ljubljana, the daily points out that while official figures from the 1991 census suggest that about 30,000 Muslims are living in Slovenia, unofficial estimates suggest that number goes up to 150,000.
