Ambassador Bekes Comments on Problems of Suncani Hvar and NEK

Ljubljana, 5 February - The value of Slovenian companies' investments in the Croatian economy amounted to US$ 20m in 2000, US$ 40m in 2001, while in 2002 this amount rose up to US$ 78m. This is a large and positive investment momentum, said Slovenian Ambassador to Croatia Peter Bekes. "The picture is not only black. It is actually a bright picture with some black spots," he commented on complications surrounding the sale of the Croatian resort operator Suncani Hvar and the agreement on the Krsko N-plant (NEK) for the Wednesday edition of daily Dnevnik.
