Lasko Wants to See Interbrew's Study; Urges FM Rupel to Explain His Statement

Laško, 16 February - After three failed attempts to get access to a study about the Slovenian beer market made by its Belgian rival, the leading Slovenian brewer is planning to sue the anti-trust office for denying it the access. Moreover, Pivovarna Lasko CEO Tone Turnsek urged FM Dimitrij Rupel to explain who had reassured Belgium's Interbrew that it would be able to get a certain share in Pivovarna Union. This Ljubljana-based brewer is owned by both Interbrew and Pivovarna Lasko. Moreover, both would like to increase their stakes in it.
