Andrei Čerkasov, First Seed of the Slovenian Open

Ljubljana, 1 May - The Tennis Challenge tournament Slovenian Open '93 (a US$ 100,000 prize fund and paid hotel accommodations) will start on 1 May, with qualifications in the tennis center in Domžale pri Ljubljani. The first seed of the main tournament, which is to start on Monday, 3 May, is a member of the Russian team in the Davis Cup, Andrei Čerkasov, who is last year's quarter-finalist of Roland Garros in France, and was in 1990 quarter-finalist of two Grand Slam tournaments (in Australia and the US).
