President Bids Farewell to Last Generation of Draft Soldiers

Maribor, 15 October - Slovenia has shaped an efficient concept of development for its armed forces in the recent years, President Janez Drnovsek told the last generation of conscription soldiers on Wednesday in what marks the end of the draft in Slovenia. The ceremony took place at the Pekre military training centre near Maribor, with Drnovsek as the key-note speaker.
