Ljubljana, 15 October - Contemporary problems of global international security are the comprehension of how global security has developed since the end of the Cold War, determination of contemporary threats, division of power in the international community and its influence on international security, plus the efficiency of international security mechanisms. This is a personal view of Danilo Tuerk, the assistant to secretary general of the United Nations for political affairs.
