Papers Comment on the Official End to Mandatory Service

Ljubljana/Maribor, 16 October - All three leading Slovenian dailies comment on the abolishment of mandatory military service in the wake of Wednesday's ceremony to mark the last generation of conscript soldiers. All three papers agree that the decision to abolish the draft was a political one and will prove to be wrong over time.
