Pope's 25th Anniversary Looked Into by Dailies

Ljubljana/Maribor, 16 October - Dailies Delo and Vecer examine Pope John Paul II's 25th anniversary as pontiff on Thursday. While Delo says that his physical suffering is being seen by the faithful as Christ's suffering on the cross, Vecer points out that the fall of the Iron Curtain would have been far more difficult to realise without a Slavic pope in the Vatican.
