Health Service Scandals Mark This Year's Doctors' Conference

Laško, 17 October - "Numerous scandals have been stirring up the Slovenian health service, while people who just yesterday sat firmly in their seats are today leaving their posts," said chair of the Slovenian Medical Association (SZD) Pavel Poredos, as he addressed over 50 doctors from Slovenia and abroad who gathered in Lasko, a town 60 km east of Ljubljana, for an association's two-day annual meeting.
