Vecer Takes a Look at Developments in Slovenian Defence

Maribor, 27 October - It has been twelve years since the last unit of the former Yugoslav People's Army left the Slovenian territory. By coincidence, or maybe not, we are still having much to do with the military today. Only this time it is about something completely different - Slovenia has abolished the draft a month ago and replaced it with a professional army, the Slovenian daily Vecer writes on Monday.
