Slovenians Keep up Old Christian Tradition

Ljubljana, 1 November - Ceremonies and masses are being held across Slovenia on Saturday, as the people remember the dead on All Saints Day. The Catholic Church has been marking this day for over 1,200 years. The holiday is based on respect for the deceased and Christian belief in life after death. Traditionally, people visit cemetaries on this day and pray for the dead.
