Doctors to Prescribe Cheaper Drugs

Ljubljana, 1 November - As of November doctors will be obliged to prescribe medication that is cheaper or priced at an amount still covered by insurance. This is one of the effects of the new system of interchangeable drugs with the highest recognised value. However, this will apply only to a list of interchangeable drugs, published by the drug administration. All other drugs will continue to be prescribed as before.
