Ljubljana, 2 November - Below is a schedule of events for Monday, 3 November:

LJUBLJANA - Interior Minister Rado Bohinc is to give a press conference at noon on "the erased", people from former Yugoslav republics who were erased from Slovenia's population register in 1992. (STA)

PORTOROZ - A two-day international conference, Telecommunications 2003, is to open at 10 AM, focussing on telecommunications in SE Europe. (STA)

PORTOROZ - A two-day international conference on the employment of people with disabilities is to open at 10 AM. Sponsored by the British Embassy and the Slovenian Labour Ministry, the conference is to be addressed by British Ambassador to Slovenia Hugh Mortimer and Labour Minister Vlado Dimovski. A press conference is scheduled for 1:30 PM.

ZAGREB, Croatia - Slovenian-Croatian defence consultations are to take place, headed by Defence Ministry State Secretary Milan Jazbec on behalf of Slovenia and Deputy Defence Minister Zlatko Gareljic on behalf of Croatia.

LJUBLJANA - A three-day seminar on migrations is to kick off at the Europe Centre, organised by the NGOs Gea 2000 and the Slovenian Philanthropy.

LJUBLJANA - A Phare twinning project on police co-operation is to wrap up, which aimed to prepare Slovenia for EU membership and the implementation of the EU laws regarding police co-operation.

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary committee for finance and monetary policy is to discuss the 2005 budgetary documents at 2 PM.

LJUBLJANA - A seminar on the opportunities for Slovenian companies to participate in the projects of the Inter-American Development Bank is to take place, organised by the Chamber of Commerce (GZS) and the Finance Ministry.

LJUBLJANA - A press conference is to be held at 11 AM ahead of the 17th show of foreign literature "Frankfurt after Frankfurt", which is to open on 6 November at the Cankarjev dom arts centre. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The Union Olimpija basketball team is to give a press conference at 12:30 PM ahead of the Euroleague opener on Thursday.
