Cancer Patient Dies in the Wake of Celje Hospital Scandal

Celje, 3 November - A patient whose sample of cancerous tissue had been taken in the Celje hospital but had not been examined died a month ago from malign tumour, the daily Dnevnik writes on Monday. The news comes after a scandal broke out in the Celje hospital a year ago, as the media revealed that 2,500 tissue samples had been taken in the past 15 years which had then not been examined.
