Stormy Weekend Weather Causes Damages of Millions of Tolars
Črna na Koroškem/Maribor/Tržič, 3 November - Heavy storms that ravaged the country over the weekend have caused over SIT 70m (EUR 297,000) of damage in Slovenia's second largest city of Maribor, while the northern region of Korosko has put the estimate at up to SIT 60m (EUR 255,000). The Trzic municipality, where the swollen Trziska Bistrica carried away part of a road, depriving 300 people of a link to the valley, has meanwhile started with a cleanup.
