Ljubljana, 3 November - Below is a schedule of events on Tuesday, 4 November:
LJUBLJANA - The strategic council for economic development, led by PM Anton Rop, is to convene at 4 PM to debate Slovenia's entry into the EU's exchange rate mechanism ERM 2. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor is to continue talks with heads of the deputy groups and the chairs of the foreign policy committe and the European affairs commission about a bill on the co-operation between the parliament and the government on EU-related issues. (STA)
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Finance Ministry State Secretary Sibil Svilan is to represent Slovenia at a meeting of EU finance ministers which will focus on France's violation of the growth and stability pact's provisions on budget deficit.
LJUBLJANA - The centre for information, co-operation and development of non-governmental organisations is to host a press conference at 10 AM to present the annual festival of NGOs, taking place around Slovenia between 5 and 10 November.
RAKITJE, Croatia - A workshop on the effect of natural disasters on the safety of the environment in SE Europe will be underway within the SE Europe Stability Pact. Also participating in the event will be Branko Dervodel, deputy director of the Slovenian Administration for Protection and Disaster Relief.
LJUBLJANA - A public debate entitled "Slovenia's Literacy - A Disaster?" is to be held at the Cankarjev dom congress centre.
