Gross Foreign Debt Exceeds Reserves by EUR 4.57bn in August

Ljubljana, 4 November - Slovenia's foreign exchange reserves totalled EUR 8.01bn at the end of August, falling EUR 4.57bn short of the country's gross foreign debt, which stood at EUR 12.58bn. The overall foreign debt increased by EUR 1.09bn, while reserves expanded by EUR 181m in the year to August, according to the latest issue of the Bulletin of the Bank of Slovenia.
