EU Calls for Better Info on Public Finances from Acceding Countries

Brussels, 4 November - At Tuesday's meeting with the ten acceding countries, EU finance ministers called for more comprehensive information on public finances, especially on public debt and budget deficit, which the EU future members must send to Brussels. All the countries must improve their respective data in accordance with the ESA 95 methodology, the EU finance ministers pointed out.
