SAZU President Says Slovenians Are Afraid of Foreigners

Ljubljana, 5 November - "The fact that we are not open is manifested in the fact that we don't like foreigners," the president of the Slovenian Academy of Arts and Sciences (SAZU) said in response to a recent warning by the first Speaker of Parliament in independent Slovenia, France Bucar, that excessive openness could lead to the loss of identity.
