EU Report: Slovenia Attains High Level of Preparedness, Yet Work Is Not Finished
Brussels, 5 November - Slovenia has achieved a high level of preparedness for EU membership, the European Commission stated in its report released on Wednesday. Nevertheless the country will not be completely ready to adopt the obligations resulting from membership until it has taken additional measures in altogether 13 areas of EU legislation and made some improvements in its administrative readiness and economic policies, the commission warned in its final comprehensive monitoring report on the acceding countries' readiness to enter the EU.
