Elan Expects End-Year Profits of EUR 2m

Begunje na Gorenjskem, 5 November - Slovenian sports equipment maker Elan anticipates sales revenues to top EUR 100m by years' end, up 24 percent over 2002. Meanwhile, profits are to amount to a more lacklustre EUR 2m, largely due to delays in investment and the recession on Western markets.
