Croatian Politician Pulls Publicity Stunt at Disputed Border Point

Novo Mesto, 6 November - A candidate for the Croatian Law Party (HSP) started the election campaign for Croatia's upcoming general elections on Thursday, by arriving at the Slovenian barracks at a disputed border point Trdinov vrh between Slovenia and Croatia. He was dressed in a historical costume of Croatian leader ban Josip Jelacic, but his original intention to ride in on a white Lipizzaner was not carried out.
