Delo Critical of Efforts to Combat Functional Illiteracy

Ljubljana, 7 November - For four years we have been hearing about findings suggesting there is an appalling rate of functional literacy among Slovenia's adult population. Slovenians are incapable of filing a job request, let alone understanding instructions for use of various products. For four years state institutions have been aware of the problem and nothing has been done, daily Delo says on Friday.
