Slovenia Should Have Savudrija for Security Reasons, Starman Says

Ljubljana, 7 November - Slovenia was disadvantaged by the Drnovsek-Racan border agreement of 2001 and would rightfully claim a larger portion of territory. That was the general view voiced by participants of a panel on "Slovenians' Historical Rights to the Adriatic". One of the speakers, Danijel Starman of the Civil Society for the Border in Istria, claimed that "Slovenia will not be a safe country until it has acquired Savudrija".
