LIFFe Is an Established Festival, Says Its Programme Director

Ljubljana, 7 November - "We could never compete with festivals such as Cannes, Berlin or Venice, so our niche is up-and-coming authors, a category that not all festivals value enough," Jelka Stergel, programme director of the Ljubljana International Film Festival (LIFFe), said on the opening day of the festival's 14th edition. Strgel added that LIFFe has made a name for itself over the past years, gaining the trust of producers and distributors who choose increasingly to participate.
