Ljubljana, 9 November - Below is a schedule of events for Monday, 10 November:
LJUBLJANA - Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych is to start a three-day official visit. He is scheduled to meet with PM Anton Rop on the first day of his visit. A joint statement for the press is scheduled for 2:30 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Europe Minister Janez Potocnik and EU ambassador to Slovenia Erwan Fouere are to present the latest European Commission report on Slovenia's readiness to enter the EU, to the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and the European affairs commission. The session is to start at 10 AM, with a press conference scheduled for 12:30 PM. (STA)
VIENNA - Defence Minister Anton Grizold is to start an official two-day visit to Austria. He is to meet with his Austrian counterpart Guenther Platter and deputy chief of staff of the Austrian Armed Forces, Colonel General Wolfgang Spink.
LJUBLJANA - The council of the coalition Liberal Democracy (LDS) is to convene to look into topical issues and set down internal rules for European Parliament elections. Meanwhile, FM Dimitrij Rupel and Europe Minister Janez Potocnik are to present their view on Slovenia's status in the EU. LDS officials are to talk to the press at 4 PM. (STA)
ANKARA - A Slovenian business delegation is to start a five-day visit to Turkey. Headed by chairman of the international co-operation sector at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) Tanja Rupnik, the delegation is set to attend business conferences in Ankara, Konya and Bursa and visit several Turkish companies.
LJUBLJANA - The opposition Youth Party (SMS) is to hold a press conference at 10 AM to present the party's participation in the European Federation of Green Parties (EFGP). SMS was granted the status of EFGP observer on Saturday.
LJUBLJANA - The Institute of European Studies is to stage a press conference at 10:30 AM to present the international conference Days of European Law, taking place between 21 and 23 November. (STA)
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The EU's council on competition is to convene for a regular session, with Slovenia represented by Economics Ministry State Secretary Matjaz Logar and Education Ministry State Secretary Zoran Stancic.
KIEV, Ukraine - Foreign Ministry State Secretary Andrej Logar is to take part in a meeting of foreign ministers, examining the promotion of cross-border co-operation in Central and Eastern Europe.
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Football Federation is to stage a press conference at noon, ahead of Friday's game with Croatia for a spot at the Euro 2004.
LJUBLJANA - The "Italian Week" is to start as part of the "Ljubljana Through European Eyes" exhibition, which has been organised by the Ljubljana City Museum.
LJUBLJANA - The Italian priest don Pierino Gelmini, the founder and head of Incontro communities, a network of centres for the rehabilitation of drug addicts, is to pay a five-day visit to Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Bishops' Conference is to convene for a regular autumn meeting, which is to conclude on Tuesday.
