Kopac to Attend Session of Convention on Protection of Mediterranean

Catania, 11 November - Environment Minister Janez Kopac is to attend the 13th regular session of the Convention for the Protection of the Mediterranean Sea Against Pollution, also known as the Barcelona Convention, which is to kick off in the Italian city of Catania on Tuesday. The biennial event is to focus on the finance programme for the implementation of the entire Mediterranean action plan for the next two years and on the future of regional action plans, the Environment Ministry said.
