Second Rail Out Due to Its Non-International Character, Expert Says
Ljubljana, 13 November - Given its non-international character, it is actually understandable that a second railway track between the Slovenian towns of Koper and Divaca has not been included on the EU's list of transport priorities, a member of the Slovenian working group negotiating on transport with the EU said on Thursday. Samo Zupancic believes Slovenia has failed to use Trieste's interest in the fifth pan-European transport route to its benefit.
