Gov't Adopts Programme for Rapid Eurozone Accession
Ljubljana, 13 November - The government has adopted a programme of Slovenia's entry into the EU's Exchange Rate Mechanism 2 (ERM 2) at the end of 2004, and the subsequent introduction of the euro. In line with the plan, the Finance Ministry must make necessary changes to the 2005 budget to align fiscal policy with the programme, Finance Minister Dusan Mramor told the press after Thursday's gov't session.
