Three Pretenders to SLS Chair Discuss Upcoming Party Congress

Ljubljana, 14 November - Three Slovenian People's Party (SLS) members vying for the post of SLS president were interviewed by STA prior to Saturday's early party election congress. Deputy faction leader Janez Podobnik, chair of the Agriculture and Forestry Chamber Peter Vrisk and SLS vice-president and Justice Minister Ivan Bizjak all said that they are serious in their candidacies, although there have been rumours it might be better for SLS to have only one candidate for president.
