Bill on Gov't-Parliament Cooperation Not Ready Yet

Ljubljana, 14 November - As deputy faction leaders remain divided over the bill on cooperation between the parliament and the government on EU affairs, the bill was not signed by them on Friday, and could not be sent to parliamentary procedure. What remains "open" is whether the parliament's opinions on the stances the government will promote in the EU should be "only politically" or "also legally" binding.
