People's Party to Use Fresh Impetus, New Leader Says

Ljubljana, 17 November - Speaking to the press for the first time after Saturday's victory, the newly-elected president of the People's Party (SLS) reiterated his aim of uniting this embattled moderate conservative party. Janez Podobnik said that the prompt appointment of new party bodies and a comprehensive agenda are all part of his efforts aimed at creating conditions conducive to creativity.
