Second Set of Constitutional Changes Equally Uncertain

Ljubljana, 17 November - Examining the second package of proposed constitutional changes, MPs on Monday reviewed the government proposal to amend articles 121, 140 and 143 of the Constitution in a bid to pave the way for the long overdue regionalisation of the country. Three coalition parties and the opposition SNS expressed support for the proposal, but their votes do not add up to a two-thirds majority required by law.
