Most Parties Nod Certain Changes to Appointment of Judges

Ljubljana, 18 November - Constitutional articles governing the appointment of judges were scrutinised in parliament as the government presented its proposal in the ongoing debate on constitutional changes on Tuesday. The idea that a judge would first be appointed for a five-year term before receiving a permanent term looks set to pass the vote, as only thee opposition parties reject it.
