Ombudsman on Lawmakers, Bar Association and "Crni Les" Scandal

Ljubljana, 18 November - Slovenia's Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek is satisfied with the recommendations to the government adopted by the National Assembly at the end of October upon examining the ombudsman's annual report. Hanzek though added that criticism of some lawmakers shows certain lack of understanding of his work. What embittered him most were insinuations about pay rises in his office, which are a total fabrication, the ombudsman stressed.
