Constitutional Debate Continues Along Party Lines

Ljubljana, 18 November - Proposed changes to the Constitution are unlikely to give lawmakers greater protection from prosecution, since most MPs voiced opposition to the extension of immunity at Tuesday's debate. Meanwhile, lawmakers were almost unanimous in backing proposals to explicitly state that disabled persons are equal before the law, and to set the right to a pension as a fundamental right.
