MPs Back Proposals for Five Constitutional Changes

Ljubljana, 18 November - Parliament will launch six procedures for changes to the Slovenian Constitution, as MPs on Tuesday backed five sets of proposals to constitutional amendments, adding to the one backed on Monday. The constitutional commission will now have to draft appropriate constitutional laws, which will have to be confirmed in parliament with a two-thirds majority.
